In 1755, political conditions changed in Europe
The Acadians were ordered from their land and forced
to leave the country.

These are some early Louisiana census records:

1766 and 1769 Census at Left Bank/Elgard list Antoine LaBauve and his wife Anna Vincent

1771 Census at Opelousas shows Baptiste LaBauve

The 1774 Census at Attakapas or St Martinsville lists
Baptiste LaBauve and wife.

1777 Census in Vermillion Parish show Antoine LaBauve,
wife Anna Vincent and children: Isidore LaBauve


1840 Census at DeSoto County, Mississippi list F. LaBauve
1850 Census at Calcasieu Parish show Belisaire LaBauve
